How much does Pandai Cohort cost?
There are three ways in. Tier A (hire-funded, the default most admits choose) has Rp 0 monthly tuition in exchange for an 18-month placement bond. Tier B is Rp 75M upfront or Rp 90M via income-share agreement, with no bond. Tier C is for companies: Rp 500M for a private cohort of up to 10 engineers. Every applicant pays a Rp 750K application + audition fee and a refundable Rp 1M deposit.
Is Pandai free?
Yes — the full 12-week curriculum, Pandai Open, is free and self-paced, with every module on YouTube. Cohort is the optional paid intensive built on top: in-person in Jakarta, adding the Yard operational simulator, a real-client capstone, and placement at our anchor BUMN partner. The free curriculum stays free whether or not you join the cohort.
Is Pandai a coding bootcamp?
Not in the usual sense. Pandai is a 12-week engineering program for people who can already code — it assumes a bachelor’s in CS / SE / IS / IT and fluency in Python or JavaScript. There is no beginner track. The cohort ends in placement into junior engineer roles at Komdigi 117/2024 rates, not a certificate of attendance.
Who can apply, and how selective is it?
Cohort has 30 seats and roughly a 6% acceptance rate across a five-stage filter: application, aptitude, coding, video, then a live audition. Requirements are a bachelor’s in CS / SE / IS / IT, fluency in Python or JavaScript, English at CEFR B2 or above, and Indonesian citizenship.
When and where does Cohort run?
Twelve weeks, in-person in Jakarta, starting August 2026. Applications opened on 11 May 2026.
What roles and salaries does placement target?
Five tracks — AI Engineer, Software Engineer, Data Engineer/Analyst, Quality Engineer, and Tribe Operation — placed at our anchor BUMN partner at Komdigi 117/2024 junior rates, up to Rp 25.6M per month for AI Engineer. Placement runs through three deployment gates at weeks 6, 9, and 12.
Can my company send a team of engineers?
Yes. Tier C is a dedicated private cohort for BUMN and enterprise teams: Rp 500M for up to 10 engineers, run as a 6-week intensive built around your team’s stack and schedule.
